Our Summer of 2017 in Photos – Our Summer Bucket list

What a busy summer we’ve had. I wanted to fit in as much as possible before Jamie started reception class at primary school. It proved to be a very busy holiday and I took over 1,000 photos! (plus countless deleted ones). Overall he had 6 weeks off plus his first week back has only been part time. I have a feeling we won’t manage anywhere near this amount of photos in September. It breaks my heart that my sidekick isn’t going to be around as much now. I’m sat here writing whilst he’s at school for just two hours, I miss him like crazy. We have had so much fun though. Here is our summer of 2017 in photos. I hope you enjoy being nosy as much as we enjoyed making the following memories. I have so much content to now get on and write about!

Before the summer holidays started I made a little bucket list of things to do. It had 28 things to do on it. We managed to tick most of them off

Week 6

So proud of him joining in with all the activities and discos on our final caravan holiday of the summer to Hunstanton in Norfolk

Bucket list #9 – Make a meal together. Jamie made pizza as part of a weekly activity at Searles leisure. We all tried some.

From our bucket list we didn’t manage to go pond dipping, watch a film outdoors. The weather was so bad we didn’t swim in our local lido (we have managed a few visits this year). I totally failed on going to festival or carnival this summer and that was something I really wanted us to do. A ride on a steam train never happened as it was shut on the day we went. Neither did we go on a teddy bear’s picnic or sit in a fire engine. All things for next summer.

I also didn’t manage to take any picnic photos but we did accomplish this. Ditto for picking fruit. He also played in a splash park but no photographs were allowed. We also went on a bike ride but I seem to have lost the photo!

And that concludes our summer of 2017 in photos. Now to get writing about it all.
