East midlands is my region. It’s the region I’ve spent most of my life living in. I’ve lived in 3 of the 4 counties and my parents have lived in the 1 I haven’t. I currently live in Lincolnshire and I love it for it’s huge diversity. As well as days out here I also venture further afield. Not just the east midlands but Yorkshire and East Anglia too. I have to stop somewhere for my summer list of what’s on though. So I am bringing you a list of what’s on in the 4 counties that make up the east midlands.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR WHAT’S ON in 2019 OVER THE SUMMER PLEASE SEE – 40 Best Summer Events East Midlands 2019 | Family Friendly | Things to Do.
I hope you will find my list of some use. I am sure we will as it’s our boy’s last summer holiday before starting school in September. How can this be happening already? Where does the time go?
I will list what’s on for families in the east midlands in chronological order. (I have sneaked in 2 non midland events as they are places I can get too easily and you may be able to too). All event links for further information can be found in the title line of each event.

I’m also from the East Midlands and I love it! I live smack bang on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border, and there’s always something to see and do 🙂
