This is my detailed look at what’s on this Christmas in Lincolnshire. Find the best pantomimes, where to meet Santa and other great events across this county in the East Midlands. If I’ve missed anything please do comment below. We are so lucky to have such a great range of attractions in Lincolnshire with such great things to do over Christmas.

Baytree Garden Centre

One of the best Winter wonderlands and Grottos in the UK. Christmas at Baytree garden centre in Spalding has displays of decorations and lights that are envied far and wide. It now boasts a staggering 26,000 square feet of undercover area. Dates TBC.

Belton House, Grantham

Christmas at Belton – This winter Belton will be hosting the region’s biggest and brightest outdoor Christmas trail around the gardens at night. Complete with traditional Victorian fairground rides and tasty seasonal treats. From 28 November to 30 December.

Blackfriars Theatre, Boston

Snow White and the seven dwarfs – “Once again, we have a brilliant Pantomime performing over the 2019 festive period. We are very excited that this year’s show is Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs! To bring this tale to life, we have Tony Peers Ltd visiting us once again”. Selected dates in December.

Bransby Horses, near Lincoln

Christmas fair – Santa’s Grotto will be open 12pm-3pm (£5 per person). December 7th.

Brigg Garden Centre

Santa’s Grotto – Includes Elf Training • Reindeer Food • Christmas Tree Decoration • Chat with Santa and gift

Burghley House, Stamford

Christmas Fair – Their biggest ever Christmas Fair, with the special Angel Fair, will offer a unique opportunity to find perfect gifts in the beautiful Elizabethan surrounding of the Chestnut Courtyard and Brewhouse. 28th Nov – 1st Dec.

Butlins, near Skegness

Join us throughout December as we transform our resorts into festive wonderlands, with exclusive live Christmas shows and activities for all ages. Including visiting Santa in his Grotto.

Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway

Experience a magical return journey to Lapland Central, tuck into seasonal treats in Mrs Claus’ Kitchen! Guests meet Santa in his beautiful grotto and receive a quality gift! 30th November, 1st, 7th,8th, 14th, 15th, 19th to 24th December.

Doddington Hall, near Lincoln

Add that extra bit of magic to the festive season for little ones and book a visit to see Father Christmas in the cosy family setting of the Hall’s Library.  1st – 22nd December. The Hall will also be decorated with the theme ‘enchanted forest’.

Embassy Theatre, Skegness

Jack and the beanstalk pantomime – Join young Jack’s adventure with friends and a bag of magic beans! Will our Hero save the day and outsmart the Giant? Join them to find out. 19th to 28th December.

Grimsby Auditorium

Aladdin pantomime – Magical panto starring TV’s Coach Trip’s Brendan Sheerin as the Emperor Confucious Pong! Take a magical carpet ride through a tale of Eastern promise and adventure, a make-believe world filled with mystique, stunning sets and costumes, comedy, song and dance! 12th to 28th December.

Guildhall Grantham

Cinderella Pantomime – This perfect family pantomime Pantomime will enchant both young and old. So join us at the Guildhall Arts Centre to find out if the slipper fits in this sparkling show which promises to be a hit with all the family! Selected dates in December through to early January.

Lincoln Castle

An audience with Father Christmas – Sit back and listen to stories of Christmases from the past and enjoy finding out more about Father Christmas himself. Every child will receive a Victorian style gift. 14th to 22nd December. Plus our magical Christmas Emporium returns for 2019. More details to be released soon!

Lincoln Christmas Market

This event features something for everyone, from unusual gifts to food and drink from near and far and not to mention a whole host of entertainment for all the family to enjoy. 5th to 8th December.

Lincoln City Centre

Reindeer Parade – A parade of festive reindeer led by Santa Claus and his sleigh from St Marks Shopping Centre to rest in the Lincoln City Square. November 28th. Before the evening’s parade, festive reindeer will be relaxing at St Marks Shopping Centre – ideal for some Christmas photo opportunities.

Lincoln Drill Hall, Lincoln

Cinderella Pantomime – With spectacular special effects, well known songs and hilarious comedy, this show has all the traditional elements of a wonderful family panto. Cinderella is the most popular of all fairy tales bringing together all of the magical elements that audiences, young and old, love. 6th December to 4th January.

Lincolnshire Wildlife Park

Tea with Santa – guaranteed to get all the family in the festive spirit! Available on weekends in December (7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st & 22nd Dec) from 4.30pm, enjoy festive crafts and activities before meeting and eating with Santa himself.

Lincolnshire Wolds Railway

Santa Special – Booking only. Santa Specials – Bring the children for a magical Christmas treat like no other! Special timetable applies. 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd December.

Riverhead theatre, Louth

Pantomime – Jack and the beanstalk – Join our hero Jack, his mother Dame Dotty, and brother Simple Simon and of course Buttermilk the Cow as they venture up the Beanstalk that has mysteriously grown in their backyard. Who or what will they find at the top? 11th to 20th January 2020.

Market Rasen Racecourse

Rand Farm Boxing day at the races – Family entertainment, fantastic racing, flowing mulled wine. Free children’s entertainment including reindeer, Christmas Treasure Hunt and Face Painting! 26th December.

New Theatre Royal, Lincoln

Robin Hood Pantomime – Join TV presenter Melinda Messenger (Loose Women, Cowboy Builders, This Morning, Good Morning Britain, Fort Boyard) as Fairy Stardust, and the hugely popular Barney Harwood (Prank Patrol, Blue Peter) as Robin Hood. 6th December to 5th January.

Pink Pig Farm, Scunthorpe

North star ‘Narnia’ experience – Our Christmas experience for 2019 will be full of the magic of Narnia. Santa will be guaranteed to make an appearance. 29th Nov to 24th Dec.

Rand Farm, near Market Rasen

Real Christmas experience – Enchanted forest, reindeer, Elf academy, workshop meet Santa and much more. 23rd Nov to 23rd Dec. Breakfast with Santa 21st & 22nd Dec.

Scunthorpe Theatre

Stickman – This award-winning production, from the team behind Tiddler and other Terrific Tales, Tabby McTat and Zog features a trio of top actors and is packed full of puppetry, songs, live music and funky moves. All ages welcome! 18th October. Plus other family-friendly events this winter.

Tattershall Castle

Christmas at the castle – Come and see what awaits you in this truly magnificent display for the senses, with the castle lit up and the tower full of amazing sights, sounds and smells. 5th – 8th Dec & 12th – 15th Dec.

Tattershall Farm

Woodland Grotto – Santa arrives in his Woodland Grotto and stays until Christmas Eve, meet his Real Reindeer, make magic Reindeer Food, Write a letter to Santa and follow the Candy Cane Trail and solve the puzzle to claim your reward. 7th – 24th December.

Woodthorpe Garden centre, Alford

This year the magic is back and your visit to see Santa includes: • A Chat with Santa • A Fantastic Christmas Gift • A Festive Train Ride. Their Christmas displays are also well worth the visit 26th Oct to 3rd Nov.
