This is a comprehensive list of all of the soft play centres in Lincolnshire. It is not a list of recommendations or endorsements but ideas on where to go. We have not managed to visit all of these indoor play areas ourselves.

1. Active Play Nation – Birchwood leisure centre

How Much? Active climb is £5.00 per person and active play is £3.00 per person, children under 1 are free.

About – Active nation Birchwood is an indoor soft play centre with a climbing, bouncing and playing adventure. The Active Climb centre is an indoor climbing centre with a variety of different designs and difficulties for the ultimate challenge. No experience is needed at all. They will get you strapped into the harness and it’s go go go for 60 minutes of fun as you race to the top and complete the challenges.

2. Captain’s Cove Adventure Center – Grimsby

How Much? Children under 2 are free (or £1 if you are not paying for any other children). On peak days children ages 2-4 are £4.50, 5 and over £5.50, adults are £1.00. There are different pricing options for off peak and toddler time.

About – A multi-tiered soft play centre, providing a safe and secure play environment. Catering for children from 0 – 12 years, with dedicated playzones for babies, toddlers and juniors.

3. Captain Kids Adventure Play – Skegness Pier

How Much? Admission is per child which is £2.95 (3mths – 3yrs) and £4.95 3yrs and above. In general there is no time limit for the admission (except in very busy circumstances)

About – This is a large indoor adventure play area that is safe and well designed with lots of different obstacles, slides and ball pools to explore. Toddlers are catered for as well, separate from the main play area. There is a wide choice of refreshments available.

4. Cheeky Chimps Playzone – Scunthorpe

How Much? Children aged 0 to 4 years old are £3.00 and children aged 5 years old and over are £4.00.

Address – 1 Birkdale Rd, Scunthorpe DN17 2AU

About – The main play structure is 3 levels high and consists of 3 large racing slides (from the top all the way to the bottom), a shorter rapid slide and a curly spiral slide. There are lots of walkways with various obstacles (including a tricky rope jungle) and loads of little hideaways. All in all a great physical challenge for children of all ages. They are open for most of the year. At weekends and school holidays.

5. Cheeky Monkeys, Mablethorpe

How Much? There is no charge for an adult. Children are £2.99 each and under 4’s just £1.00.

Address – Empire Amusements, 74-78 High Street, Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire, LN12 1AS

About – In Empire amusements down the high street you will not just find amusements but a café, bingo hall and a casino but a soft play area as well. Cheeky monkeys is suitable for toddlers up to children no taller than 4ft9in.

6. Coco Bongos at Mirage, Mablethorpe

How Much? unknown

Address – 9-19 High St, Mablethorpe LN12 1AG

About – Coco Bongos is located within the Mirage entertainment centre at Mablethorpe. The soft play area has ball pools and slides. I am struggling to find any further info. If anyone knows of prices etc. please let me know.



7. Crazee Bongos, Sleaford

How Much? During weekends and school holidays under 1’s are free. Under 5’s are £4.75 and over 5’s are £5.75. 1 accompanying adult is free, for any additional adults they are charged at £1 each. They have different pricing options during the week.

Address – Unit 4, Sellwood Court, Sleaford Lincolnshire

About – Sleaford Soft play – the main play structure features all the kids’ favourites like crawl tubes, bash bags, ball pools, spinning poles, wobbly rope bridges and a lookout pod. Plus 3 different levels and types of slides. The toddler zone for 4’s and under is one of the best I’ve seen. There’s a big structure for them to play on plus a ball pit and a big area with cushioned items.

8. Dandi’s, Scunthorpe

How Much? Unknown

Address – 17 Holyrood Drive Unit 2 – 4, Skippingdale Retail Park, Scunthorpe DN15 8NN

About – This is a multi-tiered soft play structure, which caters for children from 0 – 12 years, with dedicated play zones for babies, toddlers and juniors. The play equipment looks to be a reasonable size. There is no mention of pricing on their website so if anyone knows please let me know.

9. Darmons Fun House, Sleaford

How Much? General admission is free for under 1’s, £4.00 for 1-4 years, £5.00 for 5 years + and £1 for adults.

Address – Station Road, Sleaford, NG34 7RG

About – The building containing Darmons is located in the centre of town. It’s a lot smaller than Crazee Bongos however with three levels of play equipment there’s plenty to play on with slides, a tunnel and more. There is a really fun ball pit plus a play area for toddlers with slides and a ball pit. During the week they have crafts and other activities on during the day.



10. Fun Farm, Grantham

How Much? Weekends and school holidays it’s £6.99 per child. Off peak £4.50 per child. Adults and under 1’s are free.

About – There’s plenty of fun to be had exploring and climbing in this safe and friendly environment. There’s ball pools, tube slides, deck climbs and rope swings. Outdoors there is a play area with a pirate ship. Plus indoors there’s a separate toddler area.



11. Fun Farm, North Hykeham

How Much? Weekends and school holidays it’s £7.49 per child and £5.75 per child off peak. Adults and under 1’s are free.

About – The Fun farm near Lincoln has a very large soft play area and a really big play area for toddlers. They also have lasertag, mini bowling, quad bike track £1 a ride and roller skating.

12. Fun forest, Brigg

How Much? Children aged 5-11 are £5.75, £3.75 aged 1-4 and children under 1 are £1.00. 2 adults enter free with each paying child.

Address – Europa Way, Brigg, North Lincolnshire DN20 8UN

About – Aimed at the under elevens, with devoted areas set aside for the under five’s and a dedicated baby area. There’s 4 levels of fun (with the biggest playframe for miles), 4 lane Astra slide, Giant spiral slide, Twin lane wavy slide, sports area, Toddler area with slide and a separate Baby area.

13. Fun Farm, Spalding

How Much? Admission at the weekends and during school holidays is £7.99 per child. Off peak is £5.49. Adults and under 1’s are free. They also have laser tag and high ropes onsite at an additional cost.

About – Three storeys of action-packed padded play structure with slides, deck climbs, roller squeezes, and a spooky spider cave! Plus ball pools, tube slides, rope bridge, deck climbs, and rope swings. They also have designated toddler and baby play areas with soft play, curly slide, ball pools, ride on tractors and much more to explore!



14. Fuzzy Ed’s, Boston

How Much? Unknown

Address – Marsh Lane, Boston, PE21 7QS

About – Located within the Spirit of Endeavour pub. It is a soft play area for ages 0-12 years! Children must be under 4ft 10″ and supervised at all times. There is a baby area which caters for children 0-4 years and a older section for children aged 5-12 years old. There is no mention of cost online. We went a couple of years ago and it wasn’t expensive.

15. Fuzzy Ed’s, Grimsby

How Much? Unknown

Address – Littlefield Lane, Grimsby, DN34 4PS

About – Located at the Cricketers pub in Grimsby. Please see above.

16. Fuzzy Ed’s, Grantham

How Much? Unknown

17 & 18. Holly Tree Washingborough & Woodhall Spa

How Much? Washingborough – 1’s and over are £4.95, Under 1s are £2.00 and there is no charge for adults. Woodhall Spa – unknown

Address – Washingborough – Fen Rd, Washingborough, Lincoln LN4 1AE and Woodhall Spa – 195 Witham Rd, Woodhall Spa LN10 6QX

About – Indoor Play Area Washingborough, Holly Tree soft play Lincoln – Their multi-level soft play frame is suitable for under 9’s. Younger visitors have their own dedicated baby and toddler room with age-appropriate toys and equipment, suitable from birth to 4 years. They also have lots of interactive drop-in sessions available. Plus an outdoor play area.

They also have a recently opened centre in Woodhall spa. It’s more for younger children with play equipment inside for babies to four years old. There is also an outdoor play area. They run weekly activities and are located next to the Railway Inn in Woodhall Spa.

19. Kids Adventure World, Mablethorpe

How Much? Children are £2 and adults are free.

Address – Spanish City, High St, Mablethorpe LN12 1AL

About – Located 5 minutes from the beach is Kids Adventure World which is a relatively large soft play centre. They are open 7 days a week. The centre is over 3 floors with ball pits a big blue slide and 2 other slides. There is a rope bridge and much more.




20. Kids World, Skegness

How Much? Children can stay all day for £4.50 and toddlers for just £3.50.

Address – Grand Parade, Skegness, PE25 2UG

About – Kids world soft play is located within Lucky Strike amusements and is on the second floor. There is a huge play area with an area especially for the under 5s. Inside the main frame, there is plenty to keep children entertained for hours. From the snakey slides, interactive i-play, ball pool, zip line and trampoline.

21. Let’s Play, Bourne

How Much? Peak times children aged 2+ are £6.85 and £5.75 off peak. Adults are £1.00

About – Let’s Play is an indoor family entertainment and soft play centre incorporating kids soft play frame, a separate toddler soft play area, electric go karts and a mini sports court.

22. Magical castle, Cleethorpes

How Much? They have a variety of prices for term time, school holidays and weekends. Weekends and school holidays children under 1 are free. 1-4 year olds are £4.25 and 5-12 years are £5.25. One accompanying adult is free.

About – This soft play area actually looks like a castle. Inside you will find Curly Slides, Wavy Slides and Tube Slides. Ball Pools, Ball Showers and Ball Fountains. Dizzy Discs, Climbing Nets and Climbing Walls.

23. Play Factory, Louth

How Much? On a regular day up to 12 months go free, It’s then £3.50 for children up to 5 years and £5.50 for children over 5 years.

Address – 1 Bolingbroke Rd, Louth LN11 0WA

About – This state of the art indoor play facility has 2 separate play areas. One area is for kids aged 5 and up, the other is from ages 1 to 4. They’re both full of all the classic features from soft play like biff bash bags, climbing nets, slippery slides, bumpy steps and observation pods. They have various special offers.

24. Playtowers, Boston

How Much? At peaks times it’s £5.10 for a child aged 1-4 and £6.10 for a child aged 5-12. Children under 1 are free and adults are £1.00. It is cheaper in the week and they often have special offers linked with Boston Bowl. Playtowers is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Open every day during school holidays.

About – This soft play area is huge. There is so much to it! There’s many slides, climbing areas, bridges including a very wobbly ramp, ball pools and much much more. They also have a newly refurbished play area for toddlers and babies.

25. Playzone, Lincoln

How Much? Under 4’s are £4.75 at peak times, 4 and over peak times are £6.50. Under 1’s are free with a full price paying sibling. Accompanying adults are £1.00.

About – The soft play area is a massive 10,000 sq.ft packed to the brim with play equipment designed to stimulate and challenge all ages. Nowhere else in the area allows Mum and Dad to play freely alongside their kids. The play frame for the 5 and overs is based around 4 monster slides. There’s a dropslide, 4 lane astro slide, double drop slide into a ball pool and a tube slide. There’s also tumble towers, ball pools, rope swings, spooky mazes, crawl tubes, a slither chicane, slackline, a spiders web, air cannons and much more.

There is also a separate Soft Play area full of sliding, climbing and crawling opportunities on a smaller scale, perfect for the little ones to develop their skills in readiness for Adventure Play on the main frame.

26. Suncastle, Skegness

How Much? Unknown

Address – North Parade, Skegness PE25 2UB

About – They have 2 soft play areas, one for the under 5’s and another for over 5’s including slides, ball pools and a number of soft animals. They currently have a voucher on their website for entry for just £1.00. Without this voucher I am unsure how much it costs for regular entry. Please let me know if you can.

27. Time for play, Grimsby

How Much? At peak times children under 1 are free, Under 5’s are £4.95 and over 5’s are £5.95. Adults are £1 during peak times but free when not.

About – This is a 5000 sqft Play Centre with 3 level soft play area in the centre of Grimsby. There are separate zones for babies, toddlers and juniors.



28. Tiny tots village indoor playzone, Ingoldmells

How Much? All day play is just £3.95 per child and adults go free.

About – This is a large themed indoor playcentre for children aged up to 10 years. They have play houses, ride ons (in), play equipment and more.

29. The Yard, Stamford

How Much? Under 6 months are free, Under 2’s – £3, Under 7’s – £4.50 and adults are free.

Address – Unit 2, West Street Business Park, West St, Stamford PE9 2PR

About – The Yard is an indoor soft play centre & cafe dreamed up by two local mums who craved a place that accommodated & appealed to adults and children alike. Children have the freedom to explore the large play structure safely in their own environment, under 2’s have a designated space to explore.

How Much? There’s unlimited off peak play for £3.50. 1 hour play at peak times is £3.50 per child and £2.25 during term time from 9:30am-3pm.

About – Every Wacky sits alongside a Fayre & Square family restaurant. With aerial runs, cargo nets and astro slides, plus there’s a safe toddler area.
