8 + Best Easter Events South Yorkshire 2021

Welcome to our what’s on guide for Easter in South Yorkshire, 2021. Please check with the attractions that they are open and their events (if any) are running before you leave home.

This post will be different this year! The government’s road map currently permits gardens to be open. However, attractions with animals and theme parks (outdoor rides) aren’t permitted to open until the 12th of April (all going well, this is subject to change). From the 29th of March, the Stay at Home order ends. This means people will be free to go outdoors for non-essential reasons with the recommendation to stay local. Most of South Yorkshire has two weeks off school for Easter from the 2nd to 16th April 2021. Below you will find ideas on where to visit/where will be open.

To avoid disappointment please pre-book as many places will still have limited tickets available. One thing we are certainly permitted to do is to go for a walk. For ideas on where to go for a family-friendly walk in Yorkshire please check out this post – 70+ Family Friendly Walks in Yorkshire

If you have an event or an attraction that you would like included please do get in touch. If you would like a larger, more detailed, event/attraction listing including photos please see this post. I also offer Facebook advertising to my large engaged audience.
