Hurry, Hurry! Lots of places are selling out fast for their Christmas events so it’s time to get booked. There are quite a few magical events happening this Christmas 2020 in the North East. I’ve put them into one big post so here you will find the best Christmas events in the North East – County Durham and Tyne and Wear where you can meet Santa and more – Not all events include Santa. Don’t forget to book in advance where possible.

Bamburgh Castle – Father Christmas Experience – Tyne & Wear
The magic of Christmas is coming to Bamburgh Castle this year. Each child will sit with Father Christmas for a personalised magical experience and will receive a special gift which is exclusive to Bamburgh Castle.

How much? £14.95 per child (includes max. 2 adults). You must also purchase and prebook entry tickets at £11.16 an adult, £5.46 for a child age 5-18. Under 5’s are free. Parking is £3. All tickets must be prebooked.
Christmas Events North East 2020
Join our festively fun adventure quest which will allow you and your family to explore and discover fun facts and untold stories in the places where history happened! Hunt for clues and QR codes which reveal quirky tales or treat yourself to a hot chocolate or mulled wine in beautiful surroundings. It’s a great way for the whole family to get out and about in Christmas week.English Heritage

Raby Castle – Enchanted Festive Forest – County Durham
Follow the path through the Christmas trees in the Riding School which will be transformed once again into an Enchanted Festive Forest full of magical scenes to discover.
