I have always had a love for travel. Along with my passion and my families passion to see the world I love to document where we’ve been and what we’ve seen. If you are looking for an ideal gift for a travel mad family member or friend then here are some beautiful gift ideas.
Scratch Travel Journal
This journal is top of my list of must have travel gifts. It contains a travel planner, a checklist, diary and an interactive map. Plans and travels can be recorded with this journal. Included is a scratch map where cities and countries that have been visited can be scratched off. This product can be bought for £20.28 plus p&p.
Travel Stub Diary
This is the kind of gift that would really suit my little boy. It includes clear sleeves for travel keepsakes and memorabilia. Such as tickets, flyers, postcards and maps. With room in the margin to write down memories. I can imagine us now sitting down together and popping travel items we’ve saved into the diary. It would be lovely to ask his favourite memory and write it down to remember forever. Not only would it suit Jamie but it would suit any travel loving person. Price £9.78 plus p&p.
Scratch Map Deluxe
This map will be more than enough to encourage any perfectionist traveller to travel even more. The map is printed in refined gold and black. As each country is visited they can simple be erased to show a colour hidden underneath. This sturdy map would look great on any wall. This map can be bought for £26.09 plus p&p.
Anywhere Travel Guide
Sometimes choosing where to go or what to do next can be a tough decision to make. You can help someone’s decision making that little bit easier with these 75 unique and interactive prompts written on cards. Guaranteed to make life a little less ordinary with prompts like “Walk down the street in a strange way” or to ask a stranger their favourite street and to go there. Priced at £10.56 plus p&p.
Children’s World Map
It can surely only enhance a child’s life to encourage a love of the world and travel. This laminated children’s map will hopefully do just that. It illustrates the world in a way that is fun for little eyes and imaginations. Most of the countries show which animals live there and what they are famous for. What a great and fun way to learn all about travel and the world around us. The price to purchase this map is £13.86 plus p&p.
As well as travel products I have a thing for personalised gifts. You can check out unique personalised gift ideas here. Every special occasion, especially Christmas, is a great excuse for me to buy a personalised gift for someone. My absolute favourite gift would be:
Personalised Amp Doormat
You can have the doormat personalised with someone’s name or family name. It’s designed by graphic artist Jim Holodak and is designed for indoor use. The doormat is £28.53 plus p&p.
Another gift idea I always like to check out are cool gadgets. I think we can never have too many gadgets. You can see lots of cool gadget gifts on this page. I love the look of this item,
Smartphone magnifier
You simply slip your mobile device into the retro styled cardboard TV and your mobile screen is shown to twice it’s size. Perfect to watch YouTube, keep up to date on Instagram etc. on your next camping trip, car ride, plane journey (in aeroplane mode). Price is £24.46 plus p&p.
And finally gifts for the man in my life. Let’s face it we’ve been together for 17 years and I’m running out of gift options for him. You can see more ideas for men here. For Mark I would choose this gift.
On the Rocks set
With these rocks you can serve your drink on actual rocks. These granite discs will chill a drink but they won’t dilute the taste like ice cubes can. What a nifty idea. You simply chill the rocks and then add two to a small drink and wait for 5 minutes for the rocks to chill the drink. Each stone is unique and hand-crafted so no two will look the same. This unique gift is priced at £29.35 plus p&p.

I have the duluxe map and am loving scratching off new places, although it’s a shame Europe is so small as I want to scratch more of. I love the amp doormat and it’s definitely something I’d love in a new house x
I love the deluxe world map and the childrens world map. It would be fab marking off the places you have visited x
Some really cool gifts here – I love the idea of the travel stub diary so cool! I used to be such a traveler…it might look a bit pathetic now though 🙁 x
The children’s’ map is the cute one in here but a good diary is always fab too! So many options these days!
There are so many good ideas here I do not know where to start! I love the idea of a scratch map, and a journal. I love journals. I think my favourite are the rocks, what a great idea.
We have a scratch map on the wall in our upstairs landing, but I love the scratch travel journal. We are planning a backpacking trip around Asia, so want to get the boys a children’s map for their playroom.
I like the Children’s World Map. That would make a fab gift for my nephew!
These look like great gift ideas. I am looking for something to scrapbook our holidays and days out so the journal and diary look fab!
I recently was given a travel journal, I love it. Anything like that is a great gift. I’m not brave enough to buy a stranger a coffee or ask them which is their favourite street though!
love the journals. I’m a big fan of collecting souvenirs from trips in journal x
