In The Night Garden Major UK Theatre Tour 2019

The BAFTA Award-Winning CBeebies children’s TV show, In the Night Garden, returns to the stage in 2019 with a new show on its first major UK theatre tour. In the Night Garden Live can be seen at local venues around the country from February 2019. This is a show that we always wanted to go and see but we never made it while my son was young enough. Don’t have regrets and take the opportunity to book.

About In the Night Garden LIVE

Quote “Take a spectacular journey into the magical world of In the Night Garden and experience the UK’s favourite family show with all the enchanting characters magically brought to life on stage. In the Night Garden Live is the perfect musical theatre experience for the entire family. Children’s favourite CBeebies stars – Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka and friends – are all brought beautifully to life in a specially-written new story using full-size costumes and magical puppets with enchanting music and dancing.

This delightful classic, which premiered in 2010 before becoming a summer entertainment fixture, is a firm favourite with young pre-schoolers and their parents.  Seen by over one million people, the critically acclaimed production has established itself as a must-see first theatre experience for young children.”

Oliver Seadon, Executive Producer said “When we made In the Night Garden Live we never imagined it would run for 10 years and that over a million visitors would come to see it. It’s incredibly exciting now to be making a brand-new show and taking it into theatres all over the country. This will be the first time that audiences get to see In the Night Garden Live in their local theatre.”

Director Will Tuckett said, “Children know these characters so well, much better than we ever might think. They see them as proper friends- when they appear on stage live they are seeing friends liberated from the television or tablet. They are there, waving at THEM.  Taking your child to see them live on stage is an extraordinary experience – it’s a genuinely heartwarming and truly magical thing and makes me love my job as much as I do.”

  1. My daughter’s a grownup, so at various ages it was banana, apple, cheese, pasta and pesto, she always did like her food. This prize would be for our great-niece.

  2. Our grandaughter Lydia is nearly 2 and absolutely loves choc choc (white milk chocolate), occasional homemade buns and fresh tangerines. Her favourite savoury is anything that’s put in front of her.
She isn’t fussy but we do limit her sugar and salt content when she stays.
She’s always been a good eater of fruit vegetables and fish.

  3. My little boy is 7 months so he hasn’t been on solids for long, but his favourite food so far is banana yoghurt 🙂

  4. I am quite lucky that my little girl will eat anything and everything at the moment! She absolutely loves oranges though.

  5. Our little girl loves carrots (only cooked though she really doesnt like them raw) sausage mash and carrots are her favourite meal

  11. This is going to sound super posh – asparagus – but, we grow it in our garden. Once you have planted asparagus, it will crop and help to feed your family for twenty years – great value. Just make sure that you plant where you want it to stay x

  12. I’d love to say that Leo’s favourite food is something healthy…but in reality, it’s a toss up between pom bears and chocolate mousse. Although he really does love his carrots at dinnertime so I suppose we should get parenting points for that at least!

  13. My two Daughters both love Watermelon – I think if I’d let them they could easily scoff a whole one in one sitting!

  14. Luckily most things, but banana on toast for breakfast and then cottage pie for tea is the current favourite.

  15. My little grandson loves yogurt and it was almost his first word, he has called it ‘gog’ since he started talking over a year ago!

  16. pasta. we make him lots of pasta sauces with pasta in it which he eats, but need to have a big pile of plain pasta too. he inhales the stuff.

  17. My 4 year old like corned beef hash
My 2 year old likes anything sweet
My one year old likes food in general and eats more than his sisters combined!!
