Things to do at Sacrewell Farm review
Sacrewell farm is a heritage farm with a restored windmill. It is located near Peterborough and just off the A1. We have visited a few times and usually spend a few hours there.
They have animals in a paddock which you can sometimes purchase food for out of a dispensing machine. Also outdoors they have a small play area, sandpit and a tractor that kids can climb on. There is also a mini maze.
Make sure you book a tractor ride. It costs an extra £1 each in winter and £1.50 each in the summer but lasts around 20 minutes. They often have events on during school holidays which means even more things to do there such as sheep racing, bug hunt trails, Santa and more.
There is an old but restored watermill that you can look around. There are 3 floors to explore with exhibitions and all the old machinery is still there. Near the play barn, you will find an animal village with plenty of guinea pigs and rabbits. Here you can feed and pet the animals during one of their pet experience sessions.
Indoors there is a huge soft play with plenty for kids to play on. There’s also a kiosk in here and plenty of seating. There’s a large section for toddlers and an even bigger area for bigger kids.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places now require you to pre-book online in advance.
