Things to do at Skylark Maize Maze review
Every year Skylark Maize Maze changes the design of their mazes, last year it was Woody and Buzz from Toy Story. Throughout the maze are stamp stations and you have to collect the stamps to solve the problem. With Toy story, each stamp was a piece of Mr Potato Head and it all revealed a word where Forky was hiding.
The Maze is large and easily takes a minimum of an hour to complete, for smaller children there is a mini maze to complete instead. Both mazes are wheelchair and pushchair accessible, however, there are still bumps etc as it is in a field.
As well as the maze there is also the Funyard! The FunYard houses go-karts, Pesky Pigeon Reloaded Tractor Ride, massive haybale mountain, Pig Race as well as King Coop’s Castle which is home to 3 huge slides! There is also a huge inflatable pillow and a small beach. All of which is included in the entry price and is completely unlimited!
The Pesky Pigeon Reloaded Tractor Ride is a big highlight of the day. Armed with NERF water guns you board the tractor-trailer and taken around the outskirts of Skylark. Finding all the pesky pigeons to shoot. It is great fun but can get really busy! So go early.
You enter and leave the site through a gazebo which is also a small gift shop. Skylark also hosts other events such as Easter Funyard, Big Family Funyard and Circus plus events at Halloween and Christmas.
