Things to do at the Glendurgan Garden review
Glendurgan Garden is maintained by the National Trust located near Falmouth in Cornwall. It has been noted as a horticultural hotspot and is one of the best of Cornwall’s characteristic valley gardens.
The gardens are located where three valleys join into one and a blend of exotic and native plants thrive. There is also a large hedge maze which families will have a great time in trying to find the middle. There are paths with different gardens including a schoolroom that was used to educate the families children back in 1842. Further on from here sits the Giant’s stride, a giant maypole swing popular with families. Plus nature trails to explore and the gardens themselves have access to a secluded beach.
You can also access the coast from the village of Durgan and extend your day through woodland and meadows. There are various coves and beaches to be explored which are accessible from the coast path. All the beaches are dog-friendly year-round.
