Lakeland Wildlife Oasis is a wildlife park in Hale near Milnthorpe, Cumbria. They have over 100 species of mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates. They have interactive hands-on displays.
There is a lush indoor tropical hall, walkthrough enclosures and picturesque outdoor spaces so the attraction is good to visit in all weathers. They also have a small children’s play area. Animals outside include lemurs, mara, wallabies, snow leopards, meerkats and more. Their indoor tropical hall includes many animal species and tropical plants.
Animal experiences are also available including meet the carnivores (18+), junior keeper for the day (7-15 years), adult keeper for the day (16+) and short encounters for ages 5 and over. These include monkeys, lemurs and meerkats with prices from £10.
