Things to do at Rosliston Forestry Centre review
Rosliston Forestry Centre is a hidden gem in the heart of the National Forest in South Derbyshire. There are plenty of family-friendly activities including walking, cycling, play area, fishing, archery and much more.
The activities on offer provide you with a chance to try something new, all activities are inclusive for people with special needs. It is recommended that you book your activity in advance. Walks are either self-guided or you can book on a special guided walk. There are way-marked walks to follow plus themed trails in the summer.
You can bring your own bike or hire one. If you want to fish you will need to buy a permit. You can also test out your map reading skills with orienteering. The centre runs bird of prey falconry sessions or you can give archery a try (age 9+).
There are also laser tag games, laser inflatable or laser team games in the wood with drop-in sessions available. There are plenty of opportunities for kids to play with a 9 hole crazy golf course and plenty of outdoor play equipment. Plus an indoor soft play area for children under 8 (or under a certain height). There is a bouncy castle in the summer. Crazy golf, soft play and the bouncy castle all have a small charge.
