Things to do at Diggerland Devon review
We had a 15% discount voucher which I had picked up at the motorway services. These are always available, so certainly worth looking out for prior to your day out. Alternatively, you can save by booking on-line and there are other discounts available too, so check them out before planning your day.
Diggerland is actually quite small and very easy to navigate. We were given a map on arrival, but even without the map, you wouldn’t really miss anything as the park is just one circular path to follow.
This park only has a handful of rides. It’s more about experiences than traditional rides. Both adults and children have the chance to drive and control construction vehicles, including digging huge holes with full-size excavators.
Each ‘experience’ has a height chart to check whether the child is tall enough to take part. There is more information on the Diggerland website about height restrictions.
There is a lovely play area with huge tunnel slides and zip wires and lots of grass for children to run around. There’s also a small area with little diggers and water play for toddlers. This area and the park, in general, had picnic benches dotted about so plenty of places to stop for a picnic while you’re there.
We have loved both of our visits to Diggerland and would highly recommend it. It’s enjoyable for children and adults alike and a great all-round experience.
Covid 19: Due to current restrictions not everything will be open, or it may be open differently to normal, at the attraction that you are visiting. Please consult their social media accounts, give them a call or visit their website if you can’t find the information you are looking for.
