Things to do at Bondville Model Village review
Bondville Model Village is located at the top of Sewerby cliffs just a short distance from the centre of Bridlington. If there is no room in their car park there is a large council car park next door or you can catch the land train there.
It’s a really pretty little place well loved by young and old. It was originally developed back in 1987 and it took around 2 years to build. It is not modelled on anywhere in particular but it all feels so familiar. Young kids could walk around in a matter of minutes so make sure you pick up a trail sheet for them. It will make them focus their attention more on all the wonderful things to see.
The fact it took 2 years to create only goes to prove the attention to detail that went into this place. You will feel like a giant walking around life in miniature. There’s water, a train running around the village plus all aspects of family life. There’s miniature people enjoying sports, a concert and so much more. Plus miniature shops, a church and even a harbour. All aspects of village life are covered. There is even a castle. Once you’re finished exploring I can highly recommend a slice of cake from their tearoom.
