Things to do at Blackberry Farm Park review

Blackberry Farm is set in 18 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside. It’s a family-run farm and home to lots of animals.

We really enjoyed our day visiting Blackberry Farm and there’s so much to do. Our highlight would have to be riding a pony. My son was just 2 years old and loved riding on the pony around the paddock with a member of staff and spending time at the stables meeting all the friendly ponies. It is a great introduction to horses for young children.

There’s lots to do for children at Blackberry Farm including animal handling (we got a cuddle with a rabbit and guinea pig), tractor rides, and the farm animals where you can see sheep, goats, highland cow, llamas and much more. You can buy food to feed the animals so you can get up close and personal too.

There’s an outdoor play area with Astra slide where you can race each other to the bottom, giant jumping pillow, climbing wall, trampolines, swing boats, tractor trail, zip line, sand pit, toddler sand pit, pedal Go-Karts, assault course, toddler play area, fort and more! Play heaven for your little ones.

If it’s raining or a very cold day, there’s also the indoor play areas, clucky’s play barn (which has everything you would expect from soft play plus more, including indoor zip lines, drop slide and wall of mirrors) and chirpy’s play barn for little ones.

Eating – The Garden Barn Café offers fresh food prepared daily at the farm. The café is currently being renovated (as of January 2020) and is due to reopen in the Spring of 2020. There is also the tuck shop where you can buy light bites and hot and cold drinks which is open at peak times and school holidays. You are welcome to picnic outdoors.

Facilities in brief – Farm park with pony rides, animal handling, tractor rides, animals that you can feed. Outdoor play area, indoor soft play barn. There are toilets and a cafe.
