Things to do at Drusillas Park review
Drusilla Park is a wonderful day out for all ages. The conservation zoo is a fabulous opportunity for children to enjoy and learn about animals from all around the world. The zoo has been in operation for many years. I even had my 10th birthday party here when I was a kid – and believe me that was a long time ago!
The care given to the animals and the condition of their habitats is a credit to the zoo. Animals at the zoo include red pandas, penguins, camels, meerkats, rainbow lorikeets, giant grey owls, marmosets, flamingos and much much more.
It’s worth visiting Drusillas for the zoo alone but there is so much more to do. The play areas, both indoors and outdoors, are impressive. I didn’t think I was going to get my son out of the soft play and ended up joining him in there! There’s lots to enjoy in the outdoor play areas, Go Bannans and Go Wild, including swing boats, slides, aerial walkways and trampoline. There’s a splash pad and water play area and Mungo adventure maze.
You will also find rides at Drusillas. There’s the Hello Kitty Secret Garden which has a teacup ride, car ride and hopper ride. Go Safari you will find the Safari Express Train, the Hippopotobus and the Flying Cheetahs. The latest ride at Drusillas is the Rainforest Carousel which my son absolutely loved. Animal experiences are also available.
