Things to do at Knockhatch Adventure Park review
Knockhatch has a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities including a petting farm, owl sanctuary, indoor play centres, adventure playgrounds and a boating lake.
The petting area features farm animals including chickens, cows, deer, donkeys, goats, ducks, Llamas, meerkats, emus, raccoons, pigs and much more. At certain times of the day, you can also get up close and personal with.
The Lost World Playbarn is an indoor area featuring dinosaurs, huge slides and more dinosaurs. It’s for kids and adults and is a great place to learn about Brachiosaurus, Pteranodon, Tyrannosaurus Rex and Triceratops. There’s a huge canopy hanging play area which features bridges, tubes and nets which lead to a selection of huge slides, one of which is a fun, sheer drop!
There is an indoor Cannon Area featuring 20 ball shooters on two levels. The aim is to help the chickens defend the hen house or to be on the other side helping the foxes with your sponge ball-firing cannons. This section has a cafe area for the parents to rest while the kids burn off some of their amazing energy.
Outside there are various playground areas, including huge jumping pillows and a wooden castle in the Chestnut Wood Adventure Playground. There’s also a landmine simulator which takes you around a haunted landmine, a Quadapillar Barrel Ride, go-karts, mini differs, crazy golf and a boating lake. Throughout the day there’s also a circus in a big tent that runs various free shows, featuring acrobats, magic and more.
Covid 19: Due to current restrictions not everything will be open, or it may be open differently to normal, at the attraction that you are visiting. Please consult their social media accounts, give them a call or visit their website if you can’t find the information you are looking for.
