Things to do at Perrygrove Railway and Treetop Adventure review
Perrygrove Railway in Coleford, Gloucestershire is a family-friendly attraction with railway lines and a treetop adventure park. They have three steam trains and one diesel train.
A trip on the railway takes approximately 30 minutes but most passengers choose to get off and go for a picnic and play in the play area at Foxy Hollow. In Foxy Hollow you will find swings, an undercover playground with a slide, fireman’s pole, rope walk and a small tunnel. You can also go treasure hunting or den building in the woods. There is no charge for extra rides.
The railway has four stations, each with paths leading to walks through the woodland. Their Indoor Village is great fun for the kids. It is home to five houses connected by secret passages. Plus their Treetop Adventure with a slide, bouncy bridge and ladders to climb. Their treehouses are really high up in the trees and are mostly accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs. The railway hosts a number of family-friendly events throughout the year.
Why not extend your day out with a visit to Puzzlewood which is just down the road.
