Things to do at Funland Hayling Island review
There’s so much to do at Funland Hayling Island. It’s great for all ages as it has enough rides to keep even the older ones amused. I’d recommend turning up early if you are going during the summer as it does get very busy.
You can enter Funland for free. The rides are based on a ticket and band system. We bought bands for £18 each as this meant that the kids could go on whatever they wanted, as many times as they liked. We only bought bands for the kids as many of the smaller rides they could go on solo and the bigger rides they could go on by themselves. My eight year old could go on everything solo, while my five-year old could on the smaller rides but would have needed an adult if she wanted to go on the bigger ones, which luckily she didn’t.
They have a whole section for the smaller kids including a classic carousel, small log flume, dinosaur ride and an elephant ride that goes up and down. All of this is undercover too. The older kid area includes a mine roller coaster, log flume, twister and helter-skelter.
They have arcades too which include all the classic two penny machines. This is also where the toilets are.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places now require you to pre-book online in advance.
