Things to do at Furzey Gardens review

Furzey Gardens is a garden with woodland popular with families in Minstead, the New Forest, Hampshire. It is home to dozens of fairy doors, winding and meandering paths, a thatch tea room and other things to see and do.

The gardens and woodlands are set in 10 acres. Around the gardens, there are different structures to explore. Plus a lake and the chance to try and spot over 40 fairy doors. You can download a trail map to find 8 of the doors but I’m sure your kids would love to find more.

There is a fun boardwalk to play on and wooden play structures with an additional level for the more adventurous climbers. There are swings and two designated trees for climbing. During the school holidays, they host different activities in the thatched activity barn.

In the gardens, you can explore a 16th century cottage with a bread oven and timbers from ancient ships. There is also a cute cottage garden.

Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places now require you to pre-book online in advance.
