Dunham Massey is a National Trust property located near Altrincham in Greater Manchester. It is a Georgian house with a garden for all seasons and an ancient deer park.

You can take a walk in their beautiful parkland. You will find avenues, wide vistas, ancient trees, roaming deer and open grassland. On arrival make sure you ask for further information on one of their walks. There is no play area at Dunham Massey but there is an intriguing log pile that kids can play in.

There are interesting historic features to find in the gardens including an Orangery, Pump House, Victorian Bark House and the remains of an Elizabethan Mount.

You can also look around Dunham Massey Hall which has been a family home for the last 300 years. There are plenty of stories to discover within the house. There is also a mill you can look round.
