Things to do at Amazon World Zoo review
Amazon World Zoo Park is located in Newchurch, Isle of Wight. It has a large range of unusual, rare and exotic animals. With around 200 different species.
At the zoo, you can learn all about conservation and rainforests while coming face to face with some of the worlds most unusual and endangered animals. Some animals you can’t see anywhere else in the UK, or even Europe.
In their rainforest section, you can see tropical birds flying freely above your head or spot their crocodiles in the pond. They have daily displays and talks. Other animals at the park include lemurs, monkeys, sloths, anteaters and more.
There is even the chance to book an experience to help groom their Brazilian Tapirs. Experience is £20 and you must be taller than 1 metre. From ages 4+ you can also meet the meerkats (also £20). Plus 4 years and over can also meet their Armadillos (again £20).
There is a soft play area for 1 to 14-year-olds. Plus a dedicated area for under 5s. There are ball pits to jump in, climbing walls, a giant slide, zip lines, tunnels, rollers, rope bridges and more. There is also a cafe in Monkey Madness.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places now require you to pre-book online in advance.
