The Isle of Wight Steam Railway is a heritage railway in Havenstreet on the Isle of Wight. The railway journeys on 5.5 miles of track from Smallbrook Junction to Wootton station.
On board one of their majestic steam trains you can enjoy unspoilt countryside. You can experience the golden age of travel in one of their beautifully restored Victorian and Edwardian carriages. In the Train Story museum you can experience the sights, sounds and atmosphere of over 150 years of railway history. There are carriages to see and their collection of rare rolling stock. You can even stop onboard some for a closer look. There’s dress up for the kids and plenty of interactive exhibits.
At Havenstreet station you can stretch your legs and venture through the woodland walk. There are cheeky messages and whimsical characters along the way plus you may be lucky enough to see a performance on their woodland stage. Plus there is a play area for the kids.
