Things to do at Rylstone Gardens review
Rylstone gardens is a small gem of a place hidden away near Shanklin Old Village on the Isle of Wight. Access to the gardens is on foot as there is only a small parking area.
Rylstone gardens are free and open to the public. They are award-winning and are a haven for wildlife including red squirrels. They visit the gardens on a daily basis and are a photographers delight. Shanklin Beach South is accessible from the gardens down some steep steps at the coastal edge of the gardens. They have an old fashioned crazy golf course here which you can play for a small charge.
You can also visit Rylstone Manor House and park which has tea rooms with great views. There are sometimes brass bands in the summer. There is easy access from here down to Shanklin South beach by foot – there’s a lot of steps.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places now require you to pre-book online in advance.
