Things to do at Blackpool Pleasure Beach review

Opposite the seafront in Blackpool, Lancashire, you will find the Blackpool Pleasure Beach amusement park. It has a number of rides and attractions with something to do for all age ranges. It is considered the UK’s most iconic theme park and the park was originally founded in 1896.

For thrillseekers, the park has 10 thrilling rollercoaster rides including the historic Grand National (I loved this ride as a kid), the famous Big Dipper which has 5 drops and The Big One which is the UK’s tallest rollercoaster at an impressive 235 feet.

There are many rides for all the family with a Nickelodeon themed land and much more. Rides include Wallace and Gromit’s thrill-o-matic, an Alice in Wonderland ride, Eddie Stobart convoy ride and river caves. There is a railway, carousel, ghost train, Grand Prix, flying machines, dodgems and more. Rides in Nickelodeon land include SpongeBob’s splash bash, Rugrats lost river, Dora’s World Voyage, roller coasters and plenty more.

Other things to do include Ripley’s believe it or not curios museum, crazy golf and daily shows and events.

Covid 19: Due to current restrictions not everything will be open, or it may be open differently to normal, at the attraction that you are visiting. Please consult their social media accounts, give them a call or visit their website if you can’t find the information you are looking for.
