Things to do at Ancaster Leisure Ancaster review
Ancaster Leisure has two locations, one in Belton and one also in Ancaster near Grantham in Lincolnshire. Activities at the Ancaster venue include karting, paintball, laser tag, airsoft and bowling.
The karting track can be enjoyed all year round, it is floodlit so it can also be used in the winter and evenings. It is now one of the largest tracks in the region. The circuit itself is effectively two tracks back-to-back to allow for its many customers to race at the same time but can be run at its full 1200m length for large race meetings. If you book a karting session the helmets, overalls and kart are included but all drivers must purchase a glove and balaclava bundle on the day for £3.50. Children can drive from 8 years old but ring ahead to check if they have a suitable session for them when you want to visit.
Their paintball experience is on a unique terrain with undulating woodlands, a purpose-built game field structure plus 8 different fields. They also have different battle types such as bridge, fort, compound, centre flag and more. Minimum age 10 years.
Laser tag is also played in the woodland and you book on 2-hour sessions which can include a meal. Children can take part from the age of 7. You are provided with overalls and a laser tag gun. Airsoft is also played in their woodland. Minimum age of 12 years.
The less adventurous will enjoy the bowling alley. They have 6 lane ten-pin bowling in their karting clubhouse. There is also a games area in here.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places now require you to pre-book online in advance.
