Things to do at Ark Wildlife Park review
Ark Wildlife Park and exotic animal sanctuary is in Stickney, rural Lincolnshire. It is a small park, and it felt to us a bit like wandering around someone’s back garden. You could easily walk around in less than an hour but with a play area and the opportunity for close encounters, it is what you make it.
We purchased a bag of animal food and there are a few fields of goats and other four-legged animals keen to be fed. The wildlife park is unusual in that the range of animals give you an opportunity to see many that you will probably have never seen before. It is a rescue sanctuary for exotic animals so visiting The Ark helps to support these animals and the work they do to rescue them.
Indoors there is a tropical and reptile house plus meerkats and a barn with a few animals. There is also an all-weather activity and play area. Other animals include lemurs, macaque monkeys, foxes, coatis, arctic fox, lynx and more. They even have an escape room entitled “Defeat the poachers” (additional cost). They run daily animal encounter shows and often walk around the park with different animals for you to meet. More personal animal encounters can be booked such as meerkats at £50 pp over 10’s only or reptile encounter (same price and age range) plus many more.
Covid 19: Due to current restrictions not everything will be open, or it may be open differently to normal, at the attraction that you are visiting. Please consult their social media accounts, give them a call or visit their website if you can’t find the information you are looking for.
