Things to do at Bransby Horses review – Bransby Horses is a non-profit organisation which means it is free to visit but they do rely on donations. If you do want to donate I can recommend their shop which has some lovely items for sale and proceeds go towards Bransby horses.
At Bransby Horses they have over 400 horses, donkeys and mules most of which you can meet in their 600 acres of paddocks plus stables. If you keep an eye on their website they run special event days such as adoption days, pony grooming and craft days.
We found many friendly ponies, horses and donkeys at Bransby. Most loved to be stroked and it’s a great space for kids to get some exercise. Although some horses will be shy of people which they will mention on their stable doors. There are some right characters.
There is a small wooden play area for children with a few picnic benches nearby. They also have picnic benches near some of the paddocks.
Eating – There is a cafe on-site with indoor and outdoor seating. You are welcome to bring a picnic although the designated picnic areas are outdoors.
Facilities in brief – Acres of pathways alongside the donkeys, ponies and horses, stables and a small adventure playground. Toilets and cafe.
Entry price – Free – donations are welcomed.
Opening: Bransby Horses is open 362 days a year. For opening times and dates please follow this link.
