Things to do at Gunby Estate Hall and Gardens review
Gunby estate Hall and Gardens are maintained by the National Trust. It is a short drive north of Spilsby and not too far to drive from Skegness in Lincolnshire. It is an 18th-century house with Victorian gardens.
They host many family-friendly events throughout the year, especially during the school holidays. The hall has eight acres of gardens to explore from sheltered walled corners to sweeping lawns. A lot of time, care and attention go into their gardens, they are simply stunning.
When open the house itself can also be explored. It is not too big and has a very homely feel to it. There are guides in the rooms to answer your questions.
There are plenty of opportunities for walks in the Gunby Estate. You could take a walk to their ice house pond or venture further afield to the remains of Bratoft manor (4-mile walk). The parkland doesn’t have a playpark but kids will have plenty of space for stretching their legs and exploring.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places now require you to pre-book online in advance.
