Things to do at Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary review
Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary is located near Alford in Lincolnshire. It is a lovely family-friendly place to visit with many happy rescued donkeys.
You can purchase a bucket of carrots for just 50p and walk around the fields feeding the donkeys. The money from the buckets and the donation pots go towards the upkeep and care for the donkeys. There are plenty of characters waiting to meet you.
You can also adopt a donkey for £20 which is a great help to the sanctuary. They are a non-profit making organisation entirely based on donations. There are not just donkeys. They also have ponies and a couple of zeedonks. Plus chickens and ducks that wander freely around the site. The are also picnic benches which you can use. Why not combine your visit with a trip to a local peaceful and pretty beach.
