Things to do at The Play Town review
The Play Town in Essendine near Stamford is a role-play centre for younger children. It is a place where children can learn through play in the centres own mini town.
There are 12 play areas in the centre specifically designed for young children with a variety of play equipment. You can book a timed session of 1.5 hours or 2 hours. This gives them time in between to tidy the toys. This also limits the number of children attending.
The 12 areas include construction which includes a miniature cement mixer and a ride on digger. The health centre with an examination bed, doctor’s kid and optician’s corner. Vets, a theatre, a park and an ice cream van. Plus a beauty salon with hairdressing stations and a nail bar, a cafe where they can play chef with pretend food. Plus a fire station, supermarket, post office and a road.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places now require you to pre-book online in advance.
