Things to do at The Village Church Farm review
The Village Church Farm is a free outdoor museum located on the outskirts of Skegness in Lincolnshire. It is run on a voluntary basis and is set out how a farmhouse would have looked in the past.
They run some excellent family-friendly events throughout the year. There is plenty to see and explore with a war museum, tractor engines, rare breed chickens and beautiful grounds at the oldest residence in Skegness.
There is a collection of buildings which includes a Grade II listed Georgian farmhouse which is decorated and furnished true to the Victorian era. They often have volunteers over the summer dressed in period costume that are there to answer your questions and show you how life was back then. They are also there to help show you how to make rugs, horseshoes and more.
There are some fun activities for the kids including storytelling, skittles, dressing up, bug hunts and you can help feed the chickens.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places now require you to pre-book online in advance.
