Things to do at Piglet’s Adventure Farm review
Piglet’s adventure farm is a relatively large farm park located near York. There is plenty to do and a lot of it you won’t find at most regular farm parks.
Outdoors you will find a big new ‘beach’ area which has sand and water play. They even have beach huts which you can hire. In the summer months, there is a maize maze at the farm and water wars where you can shoot water at each other.
There is a farmyard trail where you can meet lots of different farm animals. You are not allowed to feed them but we found them to be very friendly and most wanted to be stroked including sheep, donkeys, Shetland ponies and alpacas. Inside here there is a petting area.
Also outdoors there is a Fairy trail. This is set in some woodlands and you have to follow the trail and collect coloured dust on each finger of one hand. When you’ve finished you match the colours to a big board and read your fortune.
There are a few outdoor play areas at piglets including two giant bouncy pillows, obstacle course, slides and sandpits. They also have crazy farm golf with 9 holes, a very good Go-Kart track and a fun barrel train.
To get to the indoor play barn you have to take the tractor ride. These run continuously throughout the day. The play barn has hay, sides and sand. This is about the only ‘big’ thing to do indoors. There is also a small toddler/baby play area next to the main cafe. During the school holidays, there will often be extra events on at Piglets adventure farm.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places now require you to pre-book online in advance.
