Things to do at Stockeld Park review
Stockeld park is a mostly outdoor attraction near Wetherby. It is open most school holidays and a little bit extra over Christmas. What you can do there also changes slightly over the winter where it is worth extending your day into the night time. (well at least when it’s dark).
There is a large cafe indoors at Stockeld that also has a small play area next to it with a bouncy pillow, playhouse, slide, a wooden train to play on and a few other things. Everything else is outdoors. In the warmer months, there is roller skating and in the colder months, they have ice-skating. In the winter they also have nordic ski-ing and at night time both the maze and the enchanted forest are lit up with thousands of pretty lights.
The maze is big at Stockeld and it took us around 50 minutes to complete and is one of the best we’ve been in. There’s plenty to find along the way and a trail sheet usually to complete. In the summer they had a big inflatable assault course.
All year round there is a farmer Foster’s barnyard which is an outdoor playground and go-karts. The enchanted forest is a long trail through the woodland with plenty of adventure playgrounds along the way plus many wonderful enchanted themed surprises. They also have Buccaneer boats at £6 extra per boat.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places now require you to pre-book online in advance.
