Things to do at Studfold Adventure Trail review
Studfold Adventure Trail is a nature walk through some lovely Yorkshire Dales scenery. There is a lot more to it than just a country path. Along the way, there are plenty of little adventures and activities for children. At the start, the staff can arrange to send your picnic to the Barn for you to collect and eat part way round. Either bring your own picnic or order in advance from the café at the entrance.
Children can borrow fairy wings to wear on their adventures. Enjoy the views on the walk up the slope. Every now and again you may find fairy homes and there is also a huge stone hedgehog. Further round you may build a den and ride go-carts. In the summer there is a wildflower maze to explore. There are opportunities to learn about wildlife and nature from bird hides and information points. You can follow a trail sheet too.
Beyond the more energetic activity areas is a picnic spot with a sheltered barn and a play area. This is where your picnic can be found if you sent it on at the start.
At Studfold there is plenty for a child’s imagination and sensory experiences. The place has its own well-established campsite adjacent to the Adventure Trail. It has good facilities for tents and caravans plus glamping pods. You can make a weekend of it and explore the area.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places now require you to pre-book online in advance.
