Wollaton Hall is an Elizabethan country house built in the 1580s. The house is now the Nottingham Natural History Museum. There’s plenty to do to fill at least two hours, if not more.

The Natural History Museum is home to a huge amount of taxidermy animals and plenty of interactive exhibits to hold kids interest. It is free to visit Wollaton Hall and the grounds. Parking is pay and display.

You can take a walk around the vast 500-acre deer park with free-roaming deer. There is a relatively large adventure playground with lots to climb on and slide down etc. You can also take part in den building.
