Things to do at Aerospace Bristol review

The perfect day out for inquisitive little minds and astronaut dreamers, Aersopace Bristol travels through 100 years of aviation history. Located in Filton, the venue is built on the former Filton Airfield that was home to the assembly line for the British built Concorde. Just around the corner are Rolls Royce and Airbus.

A free comic book story is available on arrival detailing Alfie & Amelia’s time-travelling adventure, with seven ‘clocking-in’ stations hidden throughout the museum.

The visit then starts at the aerospace galleries, where visitors can glimpse inside a one-hundred-year-old WW1 hangar, participate in interactive exhibits as well as viewing large objects such as lorries, engines and trams.

An outdoor play area provides some respite with an aeroplane climbing frame.

The visit concludes by stepping into the Concorde Alpha Foxtrot – the last to be built and the last to fly. Inside visitors glimpse the flight deck, passenger cabins and interactive displays of the design and innovation.

On ground level walking underneath the aerospace giant, a projection show is displayed against the side of the Concorde with additional information on its innovation and engineering.

Your ticket entitles you to FREE return visits for 12 months.
