Old Down Country Park is a family-friendly attraction set in Parkland in Old Down Somerset. There is a farm park, a lake, an adventure playground, nature trails and a toddler play area.
It is an award-winning attraction set in 66 acres of countryside with gardens and woodlands. There are farm animals you can meet including ones you can stroke, cuddle and handle. Animals include miniature donkeys, pygmy goats, chickens, sheep and more. You can purchase animal food to help feed their animals.
There is a large adventure playground with slides, swings, climbing equipment, cargo nets and playhouses. Plus a zip wire and a giant jumping pillow. Toddlers also have their own area with Little Tykes cars, slides, see-saws, bouncy castle and trampolines.
In the gardens, there is a Victorian walled garden, a wildflower meadow and panoramic views of the River Severn and across to Wales. Through the woods, there is a nature trail .
You can even hire their Yurt for your child’s birthday party.
