Things to do at Brodsworth Hall and Gardens review

Brodsworth Hall and Gardens is an English Heritage property in Brodsworth, South Yorkshire. The hall and pleasure grounds were established in the 1860s and have remained virtually untouched since.

The Victorian house was built by the fabulously wealthy Charles Thellusson and has been their family home for over 120 years. It was designed on the Italianate style of the 1860s with grand rooms you can see today including many of the original furnishings. You can see the Victorian kitchen, Billiard room, library and more.

The gardens are home to a collection of grand gardens in miniature. There is a statue walk, a fern dell grotto and a beautiful wid rose dell. In the gardens, there are bridges, a summerhouse and even a historic outside loo. Plus a wooden playground for the kids and they host a range of family-friendly annual events.
