Things to do at Gulliver’s Valley review
Gulliver’s Valley is a newly opened Gullivers theme park near Sheffield in South Yorkshire. They are planning to add more rides and attractions but there is already plenty to do there with 23 rides (mostly outdoors) and other attractions indoors and outdoors. It’s a great theme park for children around 10 years and younger although there are a couple of scarier rides for bigger kids.
Indoors you will find Gully Town with 3 rides aimed more at toddlers. Also indoors you will find a big climbing wall, caves, crazy golf and a play area. Other non ride attractions include three outdoor play areas, a mini farm and a themed Wild Wild West area to play in.
Outdoor rides can be found in four themed areas. There’s a dinosaur themed lost world with a couple of water rides, a 360 thrill ride, plus three smaller rides including swings. In Smugglers wharf you will find a pirate ship, a little boat ride for smaller kids and a barrel ride.
Toyland has rides more suited to the younger visitor with a carousel, mini ferris wheel, fire trucks, rockin’ tug boat, jumbo ride and mini diggers. There is also a laser tag area which my son loved. The final area is Western World where everything is themed on America’s Wild West. There’s a water ride, drop ride, prairie ponies, mini roller coaster and a mini train.
Covid 19: Due to current restrictions not everything will be open, or it may be open differently to normal, at the attraction that you are visiting. Please consult their social media accounts, give them a call or visit their website if you can’t find the information you are looking for.
