Things to do at Yorkshire Wildlife Park review
The Yorkshire wildlife park is essentially a large zoo. It is set over a large area and the vast majority of the animals have got excellent and very large enclosures. It takes a long time to walk around so if you have little legs with you make sure you take a buggy.
They have a really big area for their lions and it’s one of the best places to see them. We often witness them playing. Make sure you visit the walkthrough lemur enclosure at feeding time. There’s also a walkthrough wallaby enclosure next to this and if the wallabies don’t mind you are allowed to stroke them.
Other highlights include the polar bears. We have witnessed them playing on many occasions and one time one of the bears was having the best time with a plastic cone. We also love seeing the giraffe and zebra in the African area. They often play host to some great events so it’s worth checking to see what’s on.
There are two excellent new adventure playgrounds at the wildlife park. Plus a big indoor soft play area which we have never had time to visit. The Yorkshire Wildlife park also offers animal experiences at an additional cost.
Covid 19: Due to current restrictions not everything will be open, or it may be open differently to normal, at the attraction that you are visiting. Please consult their social media accounts, give them a call or visit their website if you can’t find the information you are looking for.
