The Churnet Valley Railway is a heritage railway near Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire. It operates along a part of the former North Staffordshire railway’s Churnet Valley line. The two main stations are Cheddleton and Kingsley and Froghall. The railway is run by a team of volunteers.

The railway takes you on a journey back to the classic days of railway travel through some beautiful countryside which is known as Staffordshire’s “Little Switzerland”. The picturesque stations have a range of visitor facilities and there’s plenty to see along the way. The journey between Kingsley and Froghall station to Ipstones is around 11 miles. The return journey takes around 2 hours.

The railway hosts a range of special events and also special dining trains. Their dining trains include a breakfast train. cream tea, Saturday lunch, Sunday lunch and more.
