Things to do at Drayton Manor Theme Park review
Drayton Manor is an excellent family-friendly theme park in Fazeley Staffordshire. It has something for all ages and it is even home to a zoo. We love Thomas Land and the rides are amongst some of the best in the UK (in my opinion).
The park boasts over 100 rides and attractions and is home to Europe’s only Thomas the Tank engine themed land. There are family rides, Thomas themed rides and thrill rides. Thrill rides include a Buffalo roller coaster, Accelerator, Pirate ship, Runaway rollercoaster, Malestron, Pandemonium, Shockwave and Stormforce 10. Many of the rides at the park have height restrictions, especially the thrill rides.
Family rides include a carousel, dodgems, drunken barrels, train ride and a haunted house. Plus Harold’s helicopter tours, Flynn’s fire rescue, James and the red balloon, Jeremy Jet’s flying academy and classic cars. There are adventure play areas, kids driving school, tram express, Thomas train rides and many more.
The zoo covers around 15 acres and is home to over 100 animals from all over the world. Animals include lemurs, birds, meerkats, tigers, monkeys, reptiles and many more. Other things to do include crazy golf, a dino trail and live shows. The theme park hosts a number of annual events. There is also a hotel on-site and some of the bedrooms have a Thomas the tank engine theme.
Covid 19: Due to current restrictions not everything will be open, or it may be open differently to normal, at the attraction that you are visiting. Please consult their social media accounts, give them a call or visit their website if you can’t find the information you are looking for.
