Things to do Peak Wildlife Park review
Peak Wildlife Park is based in Winkhill near Leek. It offers the opportunity to come face to face with a variety of animals from different continents. It includes animal walkthroughs, keeper talks, indoor and outdoor play areas plus an on-site cafe. The wildlife park also offers additional animal experiences at an extra cost. (starting from the age of 5 which is unusual but welcomed for animal experiences)
There are plenty of animals to see including penguins with a wonderful enclosure (you can walk along their path), warty pigs, meerkats and lemurs. You can walk through the lemur and wallaby enclosure. Most of the animals have a good amount of space within their enclosures. You are even allowed to give their goats a brush.
There is an outside play area with a play frame, sandpit with toys and a bouncy castle in good weather. There is also an indoor play area with slides, bridges, ball pit and ride ons. You can even view the otters from within their indoor area.
Eating – There is a wonderful place to eat on-site which sells homemade pizzas. You are welcome to picnic outdoors.
