Things to do at Bocketts Farm Park review
Bocketts Farm Park is just outside of Leatherhead in Surrey and is a fantastic day out for the whole family. On arrival, you can book a slot for the indoor soft play and walk straight into the main indoor area of Bocketts Farm. This is where the toilets, shop and cafe are as well Little Hoppington, homes to the smaller animals like rabbits, guinea pigs and mice.
Bocketts Farm Park is huge and you don’t really realise the scale of it until you leave the indoor area at the start. There are pens and fields that feel like they go on forever and another huge barn full of typical farm animals – sheep, goats, cows and even a few llamas for good measure!
There are plenty of places to wash your hands and you can buy animal feed to give to the animals as you go around. My top tip would be to make sure you use the feed at the start of the day otherwise the animals are too full and aren’t interested in eating it!
Outside there are fields of sheep and cows plus a yard full of horses and ponies in their stables. There’s a fantastic farm walk that takes you around the outside areas and for just £1.50 each you can hop on a really lovely tractor ride around the park too which has commentary as you move along.
The main attractions outside are the play areas. With huge adventure playgrounds, jumping pillows, trampolines and even tractors and go-karts to drive there is something for everyone at Bocketts Farm Park.
That’s not to mention the indoor soft play areas with so much space to explore, huge slides to whizz down and plenty of space for parents to sit and watch the children play whilst enjoying a nice cup of tea!
Twice a day Bocketts Farm have pig races where you can choose a pig and see where it comes as they dash around the track. I never knew that pigs could move so fast!
We finished our day with a panning for gold session which was great fun at just £2 per child. They absolutely loved it and got a medal to take away with them which was a fantastic souvenir of a really lovely day out.
