Things to do at The MAD Museum review
The MAD museum is located on the same street as the birthplace of William Shakespeare in the heart of Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire. It is the UK’s only permenent venue for mechanical art.
The museum is interactive heaven with so many buttons to press and mechanical displays to play with. Each display comes to life before your eyes. Some of them you will find yourselves standing and watching for ages. Others will surprise you and make you jump.
There are many quirky hands on exhibits packed into a relatively small room. It is very unique and lots of fun for young and old. It’s a great way to promote the learning of science, technocology, engineering, maths, art and design in kids without them even realising.
Kids will love the fact there’s no do not touch signs. It’s also a great way to learn how things work with around 50 different displays from kinetic art, to marble machines, 3D faces, sand pictures and more.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places now require you to pre-book online in advance.
