Hemsworth water park and playworld is in Kinsley, south of Pontefract in West Yorkshire. There are a number of facilities at the park, some of them seasonal.
The water park has two lakes, The largest lake has pedalos that you can hire and sandy beaches. No swimming is permitted in either lake but you can paddle if there is no issues with the water. You can fish at both of the lakes.
Although the park is free the pedalos and Playworld have a small additional cost (see below). Playworld is seasonal and it has a large tower slide, a play area surrounded by sand, climbing frames, a bouncy pillow and more. Plus a small indoor soft play area in the Lakeside cafe bar.
Covid 19 – Please check the website or social media of an attraction before visiting. Many places may be open differently and some remain closed. Reviews do not mention all of these changes or possible price changes. Most places now require you to pre-book online in advance.
